We begin with
Shea Olein
and Olive Squalane.
Shea Olein
a true liquid shea butter,
not a solvent extracted shea oil.
Shea
Olein is a valuable ingredient in cosmetics due to its high
content of unsaponifiables, the most healing fraction.
Shea
Olein
penetrates quickly and is great for
for
dry and aging skin. It is believed to
have
exceptional
nourishing, protective and reparative properties,
which may help with aging and/or irritated skin.
Olive squalane is a natural botanical
lipid that is similar to the squalane produced by our skin’s
sebaceous glands. Human
skin naturally produces squalane,
which
helps protect and lubricate skin. Squalane
production increases during adolescence and peaks around age
25. As we age, our skin produces less and less squalane. Olive
squalane is a unique emollient that penetrates quickly and
absorbs deeply. Squalane is believed to help to promote cell
growth and help with dry, rough skin, and skin irritations like
eczema and psoriasis. Squalane
is often found in anti-aging and wrinkle reducing products.

We
add
rich, thick olive butter, jojoba and
a touch of organic
Bulgarian Lavender
essential oil which
tones the skin, promotes skin
healing and eases inflammation. After hours of whipping, the result is
a luscious facial cream with a very silky texture that melts into
your skin.
This rich all natural face and eye cream is very concentrated, so
a
little goes a very long way.
One of the first areas to show signs of aging
is the thin skin surrounding your eyes. This delicate skin has
fewer sebaceous glands, and less collagen and elastin than skin
elsewhere on your face. As result needs special moisturizing
care.

EYE CREAM: Place a few dabs
around the eye and allow to melt a bit. Then using very
gentle pressure with your pinky finger, massage the cream into
the skin. Never tug or pull this delicate skin!
For best results apply to eye area every morning and
evening.

Apply less than you think you need and you
will be surprised how far a tiny little dollop will go.
It may feel a bit greasy at first, but
it melts on contact with your skin and is easily absorbed leaving
your skin feeling moisturized, hydrated and ultra soft.
For extra
moisture retention, use immediately after your bath or shower! |

Our natural whipped squalane mousse has
no synthetic stabilizers or preservatives
and therefore is a very delicate cream.
- Our
Lightest Whipped Butter
- Great cream for delicate skin under your eyes and
thinner skin around your mouth
- A little goes a long way.
It is best to apply a very small amount to see how much is
absorbed by your skin, and if necessary apply a little more. You will
soon be able to judge the amount your skin type needs.
- Each time you place your warm fingers into the
jar, you melt some of the butter and over a period of time this will
change the whipped consistency of the butter.
- Your fingers are a source
of contaminants.

I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you something you may
or may not have known about the mousse.
I've been using it since I received my order last week, and I was
happily surprised to notice that my under eye circles from late
night studying (lots of reading in pre-law) have significantly
lightened and gotten smaller.
I love how it is helping to clear up my acne scars too! Thanks

It is made in very small batches

Because we have chosen not to
include harmful chemical preservatives in our
Whipped Squalane Facial Mousse, it has a shelf life of approximately two months
after opening.

keep the jar lid tightly sealed
- be
sure, if you are dipping your fingers into the butter, that your
fingers are clean and dry.
When you touch any product with your fingers,
bacteria, mold, etc. from your skin will be transferred to that
item. Also,
you do not want to introduce water into this
product. Water encourages the growth of mold and bacteria.

***If you live in a warm, humid
climate, make sure to keep your whipped butter in a cool, dry place.
Do not leave this product in a hot environment, it will melt.
Keep the Whipped Butter away from direct sunlight, heaters, and the inside of
your vehicle during warm and sunny weather.
Our whipped butter is a pure and
delicate product. We do not use emulsifiers or stabilizers.
If
it gets too soft or melts, stir it up and place it in the refrigerator for about
20 minutes.
The whipped
consistency will change, but it
will not affect the quality of the product.

I stumbled upon Chagrin Valley about a year or so ago by chance on a
Google search for natural products. I just wanted to let you guys know
that I am slowly but surely converting from my traditional, packaged
products to your natural products. I even got my mom hooked on the shampoo

ALL NATURAL MOISTURIZER!
Our
Whipped Squalane Mousse
is an all natural preservative free
product.
It
does NOT contain petroleum based chemicals (Mineral
Oil, Petrolatum, Paraffin), chemical emulsifiers (DEA, MEA, TEA),
chemical preservatives (Parabens, Urea), Propylene Glycol,
artificial colors, stabalizers, or synthetic fragrances.

Summer Shipping:
Our whipped
squalane is a VERY light and delicate cream with
a low melting point.
If shipped during warm weather, the product may melt. If
melting at any time occurs, simply place the butter in a cool place and it
will harden up. The melting will not affect the quality of the
butter as a great moisturizer, but the whipped consistency will change.

Whipping adds tiny air bubbles that increase the size, lighten the density
and changes the texture, making the butter
light and fluffy. If the product melts, the air bubbles are collapsed, so
the volume is decreased.
So although the jar was filled with whipped butter, if
the whipped butter melts, there will be less volume in the container.
Commercial companies add synthetic stabilizers to creams which helps them
stay creamy even with temperature changes. We do not use synthetic
stabilizers.
We package our Whipped butter in double walled jars
and wrap our jars in bubble wrap. We have been pretty lucky so far--but please
remember this when ordering in hot weather!
